ST can provide a number of circuit design tools to those desiring to design a resonant LLC converter. The 90 W/19 V, is a reference design for a notebook power supply that uses the 6563H PFC controller and the L6699. There is also a 150 W/12 V supply. For design support, a resonant converter design worksheet is in progress that will make it easier for the engineer to design with this IC, plus layout hints that will be provided to help guide engineers and the layout designers to make sure that their printed circuit boards are optimized to utilize all of the features and functions of this IC.
