The anti-capacitive protection function looks as shown in the displays when in action. If the correct phase is lost, the soft-start capacitor discharges and the switching frequency is increased to get the converter away from the capacitive switching mode, which prevents the body diodes of the MOSFET switches from being subjected to severe, reverse recovery currents.
