Microchip presents their DM164144 Curiosity Nano evaluation kit, which features the PIC16F18446 microcontroller. This low-cost evaluation board requires no external tools for programming the PIC device and includes an on-board debugger, which makes this eval kit a well-suited hardware platform for evaluating the PIC microcontroller. This 8-bit PIC microcontroller product family features high-resolution analog, core independent peripherals, and communication along with eXtreme low-power technology for a wide range of general purpose and low-power applications. The family also offers a 12-bit ADC with computation, multiple communications interfaces, and a temperature sensor. The evaluation board is USB-powered, includes one mechanical user switch, a green power LED, one yellow user LED, and a 32.768 kilohertz crystal for accurate timing and clock applications.
