The Command Field 1 sets up the MicroReader’s mode of operation in bits 0 and 1 defining either performance of a single operation or running continuously. Bit 2 is set if a BCC calculation is desired while bits 3 and 5 define the time of Power Burst I (Typically 50 ms) and indicate if Power Burst II is required. Bit 6 indicates that data is to be passed in the data field with bit 7 set if Command Field 2 is required.
