RF Low Frequency RF MicroReader Slide 12

The final antenna discussed here is wound around a wooden (Medium Density Fiberboard) former. The 8 turns of 0.312mm enamelled copper wire will result in the correct inductance and resistance required by the MicroReader. One useful tip in the construction of this antenna is to use doubled sided adhesive tape to hold the wire in place while winding the wire around the board.
