USB-C Docking Stations | Datasheet Preview

Tripp Lite’s docking stations offer universal USB-C connectivity, a commonplace protocol and connector standard for laptops, tablets, smartphones and desktop computers. The USB-C power delivery technology passes through up to 60 watts or 100 watts of power from a USB-C charger to a connected laptop or other device. This is especially helpful for devices with only one USB-C port as a docking station with extra USB ports can easily connect peripherals. The DisplayPort alternate mode allows a compatible device to output HD or UHD video through a docking station to ouput to an external monitor without installing special software drivers. Some docking stations also include a separate 3.5 mm audio output to easily install external earphones, headphones, or speakers. A gigabit ethernet port provides network connectivity when a faster connection than Wi-Fi is desired, or Wi-Fi is simply unavailable. This enables customers to upload data from a notebook or download data from the Ethernet at true 1000 Mbps Ethernet speeds.
