A battery management system is responsible for protecting the battery cells, prolonging the on time and lifetime of the battery, and maintaining the battery in an operable state for its application. The ISL94203 is a standalone battery management IC that allows great flexibility while maintaining safe battery operation, thanks to programmable settings saved to EEPROM.
