LTC2338-Slide2

The LTC2338 is an 18-bit 1Msps no latency analog-to-digital converter with a wide ±10.24V fully differential, true bipolar input range for high voltage, industrial applications. The device operates from a single 5V supply, achieves 100dB SNR and -110dB THD and features an internal 2.048V precision reference and single-shot reference buffer. A pin-compatible LTC2328 pseudo-differential input version is also available. Pseudo-differential inputs help separate signal ground from the ADC ground, allowing small common-mode voltages to be cancelled. They also allow single-ended input signals that are referenced to ADC ground. Pseudo-differential ADCs are ideal for applications that require DC common-mode voltage rejection, for single-ended input signals and for applications that do not want the complexity and additional power consumption of differential drivers. In contrast, fully-differential inputs offer wider dynamic range and better SNR performance over single-ended or pseudo-differential inputs. Fully differential ADCs are ideal for applications that require the highest performance.
