USB Type-C® Power Delivery Connectors
GCT's 16-pin and 24-pin USB Type-C connectors are suitable for PD applications up to 240 W
With devices demanding more power and faster charging capabilities, GCT's 48 V, 5 A, 240 W USB Type-C rated connectors are advancements from the previous 100 W maximum. USB Power Delivery (PD) allows devices to communicate with each other before transmitting and receiving power, so they can take, deliver, or take and deliver only what is needed.
GCT's 240 W-rated products are available in 16-pin and 24-pin formats to meet USB 2.0 and USB 3.1 Gen2 specifications, respectively. Horizontal, mid-mount, and vertical options are available, with the horizontal versions available in multiple shell stake options to maximize PCB retention for popular PCB thicknesses.
