Epson offers its XG-2102/2121CA low-jitter LVPECL and LVDS differential SAW oscillators
Epson introduces the XG-2102CA and XG-2121CA low-jitter surface acoustic wave (SAW) oscillators. The XG-2102 devices operate from 3.3 V power supplies and the XG-2121 devices operate from 2.5 V supplies. They are available with both LVPECL outputs (P suffix) and LVDS outputs (L suffix).
Epson’s SAW oscillators offer very low-jitter, operate in the fundamental mode at frequencies from 100 MHz to 700 MHz, and are used extensively in networking applications such as storage and enterprise switching where up-time is critical. Epson’s SAW oscillators are the most reliable frequency control devices made with zero field failures in 17 years of shipment history.
Epson’s XG-2102/2121 SAW oscillators are available in a 6-pin ceramic SMD package. The dimensions are 7 mm x 5 mm x 1.2 mm.
